3.He only have one leg so he think he won't be able to swim fast enough, so that why he afraid to land in water.

4. I think he was falling when he saw black and white.

5. He talked about weapons that was used during war time. Which implied that he was a solider himself, and this was during his war time.

6. ''Making Inference'' They might signify the battle coming to brighten.

7.''Making Inference''  He share it with the nurse because he really was in brighten.

8. His actions reveals that he was curious and determined.

9. ''Making Inference''  Because, letters in the story can tell that he's in France.

10. ''Making Inference'' I can infer he thinks the man is his enemy.

11. '' Critically  Thinking''  He very careless but, he can be also determined because he really had jump out the window.
