1. The pilot says his injury like finding a dead cat on the sofa. This tells me the pilot is crazy,numb to fear,and needs to act as if the leg is not apart of him now to help him through the pain.

2. When he repeated"I'm going to pass out" it made me predict him and the plane falling out of the sky because he passed out while piloting.

3.I think he believes that if lands in the water he will surely pass out and probably die.

4. I think the pilot passed out when he saw black one white.

5. The details in the second column give the story's heart or passion. The airplane and the mention of World War 2 sets the tone and gives me the setting
